Every year the Metropolitan Museum of Art holds an extravagant black tie benefit to raise money for their prestigious Costume Institute.
The red carpet is rolled out and models, actresses, designers and basically anyone who is anyone will work their way along it, pausing to pose in their meticulously planned outfit for the fashion world to marvel at.
This year the theme was Rei Kawakubo / Commes des Garcons, the Museum is currently holding an exhibition titled Art of the In-Between which also celebrates the work of the inspirational Japanese designer. As you would expect, the outfits worn to the 2017 Met Gala were impressive, with so many amazing looks it was tricky but we managed to select our best-dressed Met Gala guests…
